NYS Rhythm & Blues Fest Syracuse Swing Dance Society

Swingin' at the Rhythm & Blues Fest
with Maxwell Ho

Sponsored by Syracuse Swing Dance Society
July 16-18, 1999

Hotel Syracuse Radisson Plaza (Downtown), Syracuse, NY.

In coordination with N.Y. State Rhythm & Blues Fest.

We are happy to announce swing dance (west coast swing) workshops with U.S. Open Champion Maxwell Ho during the New York State Rhythm & Blues Festival. Workshops at all levels will be held during the day on Saturday (3 workshops) and Sunday (2 workshops). Private classes will also be available. There will be dancing to live music from national and local acts Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. We have negotiated with the hotel a 20'x40' wooden dance floor in the main ballroom (Imperial), which will be placed away from the stage so that it will not be crowded by people who are there to listen to the bands. In addition, there will be demo dances to the wonderful music of The CNY Jazz Orchestra Friday night at 8:30pm (estimated) and a free introductory lesson on Saturday, July 17, at 12 noon, both at Hotel Syracuse.

Schedule

Friday and Saturday events are at Hotel Syracuse Radisson Plaza, Sunday venues are as noted. Each workshop is 1 1/4 hrs long.
